Southern Ocean Lodge Kangaroo Island

Southern Ocean Lodge is the most beautiful place we have ever stayed. Their attention to detail is unparalleled. They have great managers and a really winning staff. We loved the kitchen staff particularly and really enjoyed the food with its emphasis on local produce and Southern Australian wines. They have an amazing collection of wines that are all inclusive. The Flinders Suite was the way to go as it was beautiful, plenty spacious with amazing views and we loved the bed. The activities were superb, and we discovered that winter is actually a good season to visit – we had 15 degree days without rain and some sun. Jordan was hiking in his T-Shirt! Overall, this was an incredibly relaxing and fun part of our stay, and 4 nights was just perfect. Tom Colicchio of Top Chef was also there!
